BREADCRUMB SCABS IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR SUBMISSIONS. WE ARE EXPERIENCING SOME SERIOUS DELAYS, BUT NEVER FEAR-- THE MAGAZINE WILL GO ON. ANYTHING SUBMITTED BEFORE THIS POINT (10/18/11) WILL BE LOOKED AT, HOPEFULLY SOON. MULTIPLE NEW ISSUES, AND NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS, ARE ON THEIR WAY. SUBMISSIONS WILL RE-OPEN IN DECEMBER.

Breadcrumb Scabs is a monthly poetry magazine about the human condition. Offering free poetry downloads, and cheap print poetry books. A magazine without pretty poetry-- instead, confessional poetry. Love poetry with unflattering, pessimistic imagery. Poetry that makes us feel nauseous. Sentimentality distorted with grittiness. Real human emotion. Specializes in queer poets and women writers, but everyone, internationally, is welcome to read and submit. Recommended for adults only. Guilt. Grit. Sex. Scabs. Breadcrumb Scabs.
